QlikView Developer

Our financial services client is seeking to hire a QlikView Developer to assist the Business Intelligence team with developing and designing dashboards as well as becoming the resident in-house expert for dash boarding technology. The client is also creating a Qlikview Center of Excellence (COE) and is expecting the professional they hire to create and manage this COE.

The position will require a minimum of 2 to 3 years strong QlikView experience, 7+ years’ experience overall perhaps using other reporting tools, and will be responsible for developing and designing dashboards as well as being the resident Qlikview expert for the company.

 Candidates should have experience with:

  • Analyzing, transforming and optimizing large data sets that will feed the dashboards
  • Building dashboards using flat files and database objects
  • Ability to suggest Qlikview dashboard mockups and proposals based on the requirements
  • Developing QlikView Dashboards using Chart Box (Drill Down, Drill up & Cyclic Grouping), List, Input Field, Table Box and Calendar & Date Island
  • Developing KPIs and set analysis application
  • With QlikView Functions (Date and Time, Keep, Join, Mapping, String & input Fields etc.)
  • Writing SQL Scripts to load the relevant Data in QlikView
  • Developing Macros and Set Analysis to provide custom functionality in QlikView
  • Implementing security involved in the deployment of QlikView
  • Develop simple and complex reports including list, crosstabs and charts with drill-thru capabilities & report level calculations
  • Ability to write complex database queries.

 Our client has a preference for candidates that have experience working in the financial services/banking domain but it not an absolute requirement. 

*This position is a contract-to-hire role with the expectation of a conversion to permanent after the first of the year. 

Since this is a contract-to-permanent position, candidates must either be US Citizens or be Permanent Residents.
