We are seeking a Windows Server Engineer with strong Windows Server OS skills
to work with a project team to review, analyze, and upgrade our existing Server 2003 equipment
to Server 2008 R2 or newer (2013).
The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Windows Server
with corporate (Enterprise level) experience preferred.
· This candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced 24x7 environment with
· On-call duties as required and must possess the ability to work with a diverse, high-performance team.
· During the contract period, the contractor is expected to supply his/her own cell phone for work related calls and text pages
The successful candidate will become a member of the Enterprise Wintel Services team within the Information Technology Department of this large (30k employees) Fortune 500 company.
· The candidate will be a member of the Wintel Infrastructure team.
· Candidate must have strong hands-on experience with Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 and application upgrades.
· In addition the candidate must be well rounded, possess maturity, vision, and a depth of experience that allows for grasping of issues quickly and making educated, critical judgments / decisions in the absence of complete information.
