Job Description:
5+ years of experience performing DB2 systems programmer responsibilities on z/OS.
The role is responsible for day-to-day management of DB2 for z/OS along with performing life cycle activities including applying software maintenance and performing upgrades.
Attributes:
• 5 or more years experience in a database system programmer support role.
Within the last 2 years, demonstrated proficiency in:
- Database technology required for the role: DB2 z/OS v10
- Support of performance tuning or capacity planning initiatives -Applying database software maintenance -Upgrading DB2 z/OS from v10 to v11
Demonstrated proficiency with tools required for the role:
-ASG's TMON for DB2, Compuware's DBAXpert
