Regional Human Resource Manager position w/Manufacturing Union/Labor Relations exp. - Atlanta, GA
Quest Group is conducting a search for a Regional HR Manager who will be based in Atlanta, Georgia. This person will oversee the HR function for the Southeastern territory, which includes eight states, and will be responsible for the following:
*Performing HR audits, reviewing record keeping practices and ensuring procedures are followed at each facility
*Ensuring HR policies are communicated and adhered to throughout the region
*Leading recruiting efforts for regional support positions and other specialty roles
*Overseeing the execution of organizational or program policies and procedures, benefits, compensation plans, and performance management
*Recommending improvements to work methods and procedures
*Negotiating and resolving conflicts with associates or within management
The selected professional will have experience working in a multi-city OR multi-state region and will have a strong background from one of the following industries: Warehouse, Distribution, Transportation or Manufacturing. Additional requirements include:
*Seven years of HR experience
*Strong union/labor relation experience, including labor negotiations and arbitration hearings
*Strong knowledge of employment laws and government compliance
*Working knowledge of HR Tools: PeopleSoft, Applicant Tracking Systems, and Performance Management Systems
*BS degree is required
*PHR is preferred
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
