Chemical Distributor Quality Leader/ISO Mgmt Rep position-West Atlanta
Whitaker Oil Company is a chemicals distributor located on the West Side of Atlanta.
We are looking for a Quality Leader/ISO Management Representative.
Job duties and responsibilities include:
• Maintain, update & improve quality procedures and processes in conformance to ISO 9001: 2008
o Perform ISO audits and other internal audits
· Manage Customer Complaint process
· Work closely with customers, co-workers and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues
· Regularly report to Senior Management on developments, concerns, and customer expectations on all quality-related matters
· Work in partnership with all departments to achieve the company’s business objectives
· May require training/coaching employees on quality and continuous improvement concepts
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Four-year college or technical degree preferred
• ISO 9001 experience desirable; certified auditor experience preferred
• 4+ years’ relevant work experience in Quality Management/Control
• Lab background a plus
• Strong business competencies in the following areas: continuous improvement planning, problem solving, and customer orientation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
• Travel within the Southeast required, approximately 20%
• Computer-savvy
