Systems Engineer position. Role interacts directly with engineering and operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong infrastructure background with recent experience on AWS, automation, and scripting.
RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS
Strong Operations application lead with hands-on experience, at least 4 years or more experience in online or SaaS world:
• Build and Maintain environments that are secure, redundant, high performing, standards compliant and stable
• Production deployment & configuration management automation
• Internal Tools Development
• Assist in deployment and production issues during regular and off office hours
• Review Software design and security
QUALIFICATIONS
• seven to twelve years of systems engineering with at least four years of Ubuntu Linux experience Ubuntu Linux experience
• two+ years AWS experience including implementation, automation, consuming services, API
• one+ years of hands on experience with Chef or Puppet skills needed- mass systems deployments
• Strong data center experience
• Experience working on critical, highly available production system
• Solid experience in DHCP/DNS
• Experience managing and implementing LDAP
• Experience in a cloud infrastructure is required
• Experience in Infrastructure Monitoring solution implementation would be great
• Some Scripting experience – Bash, Python, etc.
• Enjoy learning and working on challenging complex technical problems
• Good documentation skills and root cause problem solving abilities
• Must have experience in online, ecommerce, or web/SaaS solutions companies
