BI Analytics Engineer
• Accountable for the proper setup of analytics data collection and ensuring that data is collected correctly • Develop and customize JavaScript data collection code
• Establish and document best practices and technical requirements for tracking website, mobile, and social media platforms • Audit data and oversee data cleansing and correction • Evaluate and make recommendations on application of new analytics technologies • Work with BI Engineering team to evaluate and integrate additional data
Education: · BA/BS preferably in mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, information systems, marketing, or business.
Experience: · Minimum 3 years of experience in a data analytics, including tag installation and management
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Proficiency with JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, AJAX, HTML, CSS • Implementation experience in Adobe Site Catalyst, Google Analytics, or other web analytics tool • Experience implementing tracking using JavaScript, mobile SDKs, social, and media platforms • Experience testing data capture on smartphones • Experience with data integration and APIs • Adobe or Google Analytics certifications a plus
