Huawei R&D Competence Center is responsible for corporate level product design competence improvement and R&D product development efficiency driver, including architecture and system design, design for "X"-ability, system engineering software engineering, product development productivity methodology and tools infrastructure.
To improve the efficiency of the R&D of the ICT products and solutions, A series of Software Engineering methods will be applied in the process of R&D including Analysis, Design, Development and Test. And for improve the reusability in component level, PLE(Product Line Engineer) will also be applied in some of the product lines.
The candidates we’re looking for are software engineering experts and also have the experiences of tools development and applications in requirement engineering, configuration management, and product line engineering.
Job Responsibilities
This position focuses on business planning, architecture-design of Tools and Product line engineering, Tools of each specific domain like; requirement engineering, Architecture Design, Development and Test.
Position responsibilities are as below;
Business Planning
l Development of a tools technology business plan for the Software Product line and identify tools application trends and potential business value for R&D based on industry technology; evolvement in trends from commercial community and open source community.
l Familiar with the popular processes and methodology in software product line engineering, software architecture design, Configuration Management and Code implementation.
Architecture Designing
l Analyze and design the tools platform solution for Product Line Engineering Application for one trial project. The platform Solution is open, with quality of modification and scalability, and of excellent usability to support business needs in the next 5 years.
Qualifications
l Must have experience in designing the architecture for Tool solution of Product Line engineering and Configuration management for at least 5 years. Experts are preferred with ALM tools development and at least 5 years of R&D experience from tier 1 software companies such as; IBM, Microsoft, PTC (mks) etc.
l At least 10 years of software R&D experience, in depth knowledge of popular software R&D Processes & Methodology.
l Must have experience in Product line engineering implementation and application in smart phone manufacturer is welcome.
l Language skills: fluent in English and Mandarin
l Education: At least bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, IT, telecommunications, automation control or related fields. Doctorate degree is preferred
