Human Resources Manager

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to support the growth of the HR practice in the Americas. The role holder must be able to quickly establish him/herself as a commercially-minded Business Partner for local leadership and employees which comprises Consultants, Analysts, Sales and Business Support staff.
Work closely with local leadership to translate business strategy into achievable HR objectives; translate resourcing needs into regional recruitment plan and lead execution in a professional, timely and cost-effective fashion
Support the implementation of the Company's regional growth strategy, with particular emphasis on Latin America
Contribute to the development of regional employer brand; define and execute brand building activities e.g. college/ professional body liaison, collateral/imagery design, leverage of web portal
As a member of the Houston office management team, contribute to the sustenance of company culture; adopt the role of `cultural attaché'
Ensure HR core processes e.g. payroll, benefits management, compliance are managed professionally, efficiently and in line with policy/ regulation/ best practice
Provide input to the development of regional benefits philosophy and practices to ensure the company maintains its competitive position; take steps to understand local market norms, dynamics and trends in compensation
Introduce and/or update policies and procedures as appropriate in line with legislative changes and/or best practice
Work closely with local leadership on the evolution of the company's organizational structure to suit business objectives; offer commercial advice and support change management programs as appropriate
Support Organization Development activities; Liaise with the Learning & Development team in identifying and addressing individual or team learning requirements; ensure new hire induction processes and development plans are defined and executed
Advise and support managers in applying performance management methodologies; ensure managers are informed of employment law developments, best practice and impacts of non-compliance
Drive forward the development of proactive programs in such areas as Diversity/ Equality and Health Awareness
Requirements:
Bachelors or equivalent degree in related field. A business related higher education background is preferred
10 years' professional experience ideally including multi-site responsibilities
Experience of delivering HR growth strategies, particularly in relation to operations in Latin America
Equipped to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, growth-oriented environment
A focused `can-do' attitude and exceptional communication/client facing skills are essential
The ability to work in partnership with senior managers and local stakeholders
Experience of the energy industry recruitment market is desirable
Must have had exposure to a knowledge based, professional services-type environment
It's more important that a candidate has worked in a professional services environment with high performing teams rather than someone with an energy industry background. Experience of working with analysts and consultants that would be advantageous.
