Position:  VP of Sales - US Major/Enterprise Markets


Location:  New York, NY will also consider candidates from other major U.S. Market Cities

 

This executive will inherit a 8 person sales team growing to 12 this year. Client is a major global player in the expense management software space. This position will report to the SVP Global Sales

Position Overview:

MUST HAVE direct domain experience coming out of the HCM or Time & Expense software space
 
Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Leader with proven leadership skills, successful sales track record and solid business acumen to join the Sales Organization. We are looking for an experienced Sales Leader to play a key role in building a team, coaching/training and assisting in closing deals. You will work closely with customers, product management, lead generation team and marketing. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit the best and brightest individual contributors
Training and coaching on an ongoing basis
Drive best practices and sales process 
Oversee the executing of the sales plan in the assigned region to meet/exceed sales goals
Responsible for accurately tracking and forecasting the revenue
Work closely with other Sales Managers and other functions supporting Sales

Qualifications:

  •  12+ years of software sales experience in an individual contributor and management role, including 6+ years sales management experience
  • Proven record of sales success in a similar enterprise software application environment
  • Successful track record in a high volume transaction sales environment
  • A self-starter who can effectively work within a strong team culture
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Ability to hire and train new sales representatives;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with a CRM solution, Webex Technology
  • Strong presentation/demonstration skills, communication and written skills
