The Business Process Improvement Manager (PIM) at this single-site facility will be responsible for implementing process improvement projects within the business. The PIM will facilitate change management and lead subject matter experts to increase customer satisfaction levels and business productivity using process improvement methodology and tools. Development of the process improvement program must show measurable results in process efficiency, customer satisfaction and financial savings in all areas of the organization. The PIM must be able to take full responsibility for assigned projects including; creating timelines and managing all program elements including proactive communications regarding project initiatives by working with team members, creating open communication, sharing information and knowledge and maintaining a positive working environment. The PIM must keep management within Leadership & Career Development informed of the status of improvement projects; and work on other programs/ projects in Leadership as time and the business dictate.

Desired Skills

Must have the ability to use Basic Statistics Principle Disciplines.

Able to apply activity comparative analysis.

Computer literate with above average skills in Microsoft Office applications.

Good organizational skills and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to make accurate decisions in a timely manner.

Be able to work with teams/ people that may not have experience in process measurement, while working in an unstructured environment to identify problems and drive change within the organization.

Have the ability to direct and coordinate the efforts of others.

Must be able to work with production data, capacity limitations, inventory control, conversion factors, etc.

Having previous experience managing manufacturing, quality or operations in a leadership role is highly preferred.

General knowledge of manufacturing process including machine output capabilities and limitations by department.

Education & Experience Requirements

B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.

5 to 15 years of business experience; ideally in a high volume-manufacturing environment.
